Third Grade

Third grade at Lincoln is a doorway to our child's intermediate years. This year, routines will be introduced and established, that will continue into 4th and 5th grade. Organizational skills and daily routines will foster more independence. Students in third grade focus more on comprehension strategies that will enable them to think deeper about their reading. 

Writing is expanded to include, process, form and response to reading. Math is filled with many beginning concepts while securing concepts that were previously taught. As a team we will make this transition year as easy as possible.
